ENGLISH. End of the afternoon. I was coming back from reading a book in a park, when I saw some strange reflections under my feet. They came from the windows of a hotel. Fortunately I took my camera with me and it was easy to find a higher viewpoint there.
Each time I take a look at this picture, I wonder if the man on the photo saw any of the reflections around him.
This photo was made with an analogic camera. A new scan was made in October 2008, directly from the negative (24×36 kodak BW+ film, 400 iso), using a little wider part of it, on a company’s demand. Definition: 320×291 cm (or 12618×11472 pixels with a resolution of 100 pixels per inch (ppi).

FRANÇAIS/FRENCH. J’étais sur le point de m’engouffrer dans la bouche de métro, après être allé lire au parc, lorsque j’ai remarqué de curieux motifs au sol. Un jeu riche de lumières et de reflets irréguliers provenant des vitres d’un hôtel. En regardant cette photo, il me semble que l’homme marche en plein ciel, au coeur d’une étrange aurore boréale. Je me demande s’il a pris conscience de la présence de ces reflets à ses pieds.
Photo prise avec un appareil analogique. À la demande d’une entreprise souhaitant l’utiliser pour sa communication, un nouveau scan a été réalisé par un laboratoire professionnel en octobre 2008, directement à partir du négatif (24×36, Kodak BW+, 400 iso). L’ensemble, réalisé à partir d’une portion d’un négatif, cadre un peu plus large que la vue ci-dessus. Définition disponible : 320×291 cm (soit 12618×11472 pixels, avec une résolution de 100 pixels par pouce (ppp/ppi).
